If you create products by hand (i.e. handmade items), Etsy may be perfect for you. Etsy is also a destination website where visitors frequent to purchase items for themselves and for others which means….organic traffic to your listings. One of my friends produces high end hand-crafted wood puzzles and charges a premium price for his creations. Another friend makes holiday gift bags, and another designs her own scarves. Thousands of other sellers on Etsy are making money selling their own creations. If you hand-make something, go list it on Etsy. It’s incredibly affordable and can prove to be very profitable for you. If you know anyone who makes anything to sell, learn the platform and sell their items for them! Can you imagine owning a marketing company at your young age?

Create a new ETSY account! If you are under 18 years old you’ll need your parents permission and assistance to open an Etsy account. Look at other Etsy shop owners who sell the same items as you and get an idea of pricing, shipping, and definitely how they list the items. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
